It was a great honor to meet the esteemed Mayor of Travnik Municipality, Mr. Kenan Dautović, in the company of Mr. Marko Janković from the Department for Development, Economy, and External Affairs of Travnik Municipality.
In an atmosphere filled with warmth and mutual understanding, we had the opportunity to present Mayor Dautović with our ongoing activities within the SOFI project and introduce our working proposal for the Green Educational Program.
The Green Educational Program is designed for everyone interested in establishing organic farming enterprises, with a special focus on those looking to start their farms in an ecologically sustainable and economically viable manner. This program is ideal for both experienced farmers and beginners eager to acquire new knowledge in the field of eco-agriculture.
We were also delighted to present the SOFI4AGRI web platform, developed as part of the SOFI project. This platform serves as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and practical experience in various fields of agriculture, including organic, sustainable farming and natural gardening.
The platform enables regional knowledge exchange, sharing of experiences and tools, and fosters the formation of working groups and the development of joint projects.
We are grateful for the opportunity to share our ideas and plans with the local community and sincerely appreciate the support of Mayor Dautović and the staff of the Department for Development, Economy, and External Affairs of Travnik Municipality.
We look forward to future collaborations that will undoubtedly contribute to the development of organic agriculture in our municipality.
We also take this opportunity to thank EUKI – European Climate Initiative and BMWK – German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action for their financial support of the SOFI project.
